Arduino analog4/17/2023 Thanks to this SubVI our diagram will be much cleaner. To display them right click on the component and select View As Icon. Those are normal elements, but displayed without icon. Don't get fooled by strange symbols on Block Diagram. What you'll find is VI with Front Panel and Block Diagram. To open and see how SubVI is build you can double click on it with left mouse button, or click it with right mouse button and go to Open Front Panel. Because the list of temperature sensor blocks is very small you can always use old approach described in part 2 of this series. If you are using another temperature sensor there is possibility you will not find it as a block. This is single block capable of doing exactly the same thing we've been designing in the last tutorial (it is important to remember, that the output value is only in C). Take from MakerHub->LINX->Sensors->Temp block TMP3x. Truth is, that almost all of them at some point are designed from other blocks, and what you see are SubVIs. Some of them may seem very simple (like Digital Read or Digital Write ) and some are a little bit more advanced (like Initialize ). LabVIEW has a lot of VIs as you might find out already. However, it is not the only way to achieve this goal. Last time I showed you how to read analog value using multiple blocks. ![]() ![]() Idea here is to use red and blue LED as a binary indicators, while green LED as an analog output where light intensity will be corresponding to the temperature value from sensor.
